Consortium Committees

Strategic Goal and Child Health Oversight Committees

Collectively the five Strategic Goal Committees are responsible for achieving the goals identified by the CTSA consortium. Each committee identifies and prioritizes consortium-wide efforts that will help achieve the objectives of its respective strategic goal.

The CTSA Consortium Child Health Oversight Committee (CC-CHOC) provides a unique national forum for CTSA investigators and NIH scientists to identify collaborative opportunities to facilitate child health clinical and translational research through the CTSA program. This oversight committee will identify barriers, set priorities for developing collaborative solutions and standard approaches to address the challenges in child health research, and recommend strategies that can be implemented across the CTSA program to the CTSA Steering Committee.

Key Function Committees

Working closely with the Strategic Goal Committees are the CTSA Key Function Committees, which focus on research areas or functions critical to the CTSA mission and enable information exchange across institutions. The composition, and number of these committees and groups, is dynamic so that they can flexibly respond to the needs of the CTSA community.
